Excel on a phone used to be a viewer. The current Android build will freeze panes, keep a file offline, turn a paper table into a grid, and respect the number formats you set on desktop.

It is still not a desktop. Pivot editing is clumsy. VBA is not a thing. For a site visit with a cost sheet, it is enough.

The camera table import is the surprise. It is messy on wrinkled paper and excellent on a printed grid. Freeze panes is the one that makes a 40-column sheet usable in portrait.

Use OneDrive or a local copy you trust. Do not edit the only version of a tax sheet on cellular.
